Project Manager/Implementation Manager

We have immediate openings in our main office in Perrysburg, Ohio for the position of Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
Our business is continuing its long tradition of healthy, controlled growth. This is a key position within our business. The Project Manager/Implementation Manager will be responsible for leading our implementation team when analyzing, designing, and deploying our suite of DocuSphere software products to our customers. Our customers are typically large national or multinational customers who are integrating our work flow and document management products with their existing ERP financial applications, often either JD Edwards, Oracle EBS, or SAP.
This position is NOT a technical position. While prior technical experience can be useful, a successful candidate in this position should possess a strong accounting background, preferably in the area Accounts Payable or General Ledger, have experience with ERP financial systems, and have a good understanding of general business and accounting practices.
This position is directly involved in customer facing activities.
This is a senior level position reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations and will be involved in:
- Working directly with the project stakeholders in defining the project requirements and project schedule.
- Lead the implementation process and actively participate in the creation of the Statement of Work, Detailed Design, and Change Request documents.
- Actively involved in the management of single or multiple projects.
- Actively managing the resource scheduling activities related to customer implementations
- Actively participate in analyzing customer business systems processes, as well as defining and recommending changes to these processes.
- Actively participate in documenting software designs specific to the customer solutions.
- Actively participate in leading discussions and presentations with customers.
- Actively lead the customer configuration, setup, testing, and implementation activities while on site at the customer locations.
- Assist customer and internal staff with implementation, testing, and documenting implementations.
- Assist with presales activities.
Requirements:
- 10 or more years of experience in Project Management of medium to large scale projects
- 10 or more years of experience in business process analysis and design, preferably in the area of financial systems or business process related fields.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior executives, co-workers, and project management.
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and decision making skills
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Extensive experience in Project Management activities.
- A strong understanding of ERP application systems, especially financial applications. Experience with JD Edwards, Oracle EBS and/or SAP systems a plus.
- Must be willing and able to travel both nationally and internationally, often as much as 60 – 70%.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member. Must also be self motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects.
- PMI certification a plus.
- Related undergraduate degree or MBA preferred but not required.
Must already be located in or willing to relocate to the Northwest Ohio (Toledo/Perrysburg) area.
